“Four Brothers on the Front Lines of Sustainability” was successfully presented at the Washington, D.C. World Future Society Conference on July 27, 2008. PowerPoint presentations are available on our individual websites or by request to any of us. The Brothers are available for media interviews and other inquiries.

The four Davis brothers have logged nearly a century of work focused on sustainability, integrating science, law, human nature and spiritual beliefs. They bring an eclectic mix of viewpoints aimed at stimulating inquiry and debate, and creating NEW approaches to our global future.

Born and raised in a blue-collar household in Chicago, they pursue different careers with a common thread: the health and sustainability of our world.

Wayne S. Davis, an innovative governmental scientist, addresses the necessity of objective biological criteria for assessing the health and sustainability of ecosystems. Earon S. Davis, writer, bodyworker and former attorney and environmental health advocate, demystifies human nature to remove cultural and political obstacles to sustainable living. Geary M. Davis, Chinese Medicine practitioner and former hospital Chief Information Officer, discusses spiritual approaches to the necessary transformations to sustainability. Brian H. Davis, a collaborative environmental attorney with experience at U. S. EPA and 3M, presents why and how businesses must incorporate environmental values to succeed.

The attitudinal shifts each Brother advocates fit together in an understandable foundation for consensus building and improved decision-making. Every element of society, including business, culture, and individual health attitudes impacts our finite planet. As economic and environmental sustainability are interdependent, environmental concerns must translate into effective actions which encourage us to care for ourselves and our world. Let’s re-design our cultural, economic, scientific, government policy and regulatory institutions to embrace the values of sustainability and responsibility at all levels.
